Lough Eske Castle has featured in seventh place in the Condé Nast Traveller Awards, featuring on the list for the last eight consecutive years.

The awards are a global celebration of travel excellence, based on Conde Nast Traveller readers’ views and experiences. Over 750,000 readers took part in the 2025 Awards, sharing their insights and rating their favourite travel experiences and hotels from around the world.

The top 10 hotels on Condé Nast Traveller Readers’ Choice Awards in consecutive order are: The Lodge at Ashford Castle, Mayo; Ballyfin Demesne, Laois; Hayfield Manor, Cork; The Killarney Park, Kerry; The Merrion, Dublin; Anantara The Marker Dublin; Lough Eske Castle, Donegal; Kilkea Castle, Kildare; The Westbury, Dublin; Ice House Ballina, Mayo; The Shelbourne, Dublin; and Killarney Royal Hotel, Kerry. 

Lough Eske Castle has featured in the Condé Nast Traveller Readers’ Awards in 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 and now 2025. As one of the longest-running and most prestigious travel industry awards, now in its 36th year, the awards recognise excellence and continue to represent the highest standards in the travel industry.
