South Donegal woman's 105th birthday celebrations raise €2,000 for local charities

A fundraising coffee morning, which coincided with a south Donegal woman's 105th birthday celebrations, raised €2,000 for Donegal Hospice and Donegal Community Hospital.
Mary Meehan, from Glencoagh, Mountcharles, turned 105 in October and visited Harvey's Point with family and friends before the fundraising event was held at St Patrick's Parish Centre in Donegal Town, where attendees were encouraged to join in honouring Mary’s life with "joy, cake, and community spirit."
"Mary's family asked me to pass on their heartfelt thanks to everyone who helped celebrate her special day. Massive thanks to all the volunteers and St Patrick's Parish Centre, Donegal Town."
