Harte in the mix for Fine Gael
The last number of days has seen some major moves in relation to the general election for Fine Gael and Fianna Fáil in particular.
Fine Gael has added Paddy Harte Jr. as the second Fine Gael candidate in the Donegal constituency, joining Joe McHugh, TD, Minister of State for the Gaeltacht.
It is understood that Fianna Fáil Cllr. James Pat McDaid will not be added to his party’s ticket, leaving Charlie McConalogue, TD, and Pat “the Cope” Gallagher, former MEP, as the two Fianna Fáil candidates in Donegal for the general election.
