Information session this Thursday
The Donegal Family Resource Centre will be hosting an information session at its new premises on Upper Main Street, Donegal Town,Thursday 9th December 2010 at 330pm. A representative from the Citizens Information Centre will be attending to talk about the main budget changes to social welfare, health, education, and taxes among other things. Jim McLaughlin Chair of the Family Resource Centre commented: "The Budget's harsh n6 Billion cuts will have significant consequences particularly among the most vulnerable in our community. The Family Resource Centre have arranged this information session to give people a chance to drop in to our premises and find out about how the Budget will affect them. We work on the frontline with the community and are well aware of the widespread concern and anxiety about these forthcoming cuts. This session was organised as a community response to these concerns." There will be refreshments served and everyone is welcome. Any queries contact Jim on 0879730539.
