Clannad to perform in
Christ Church Cathedral
Dublin's Christ Church Cathedral will host a trio of concerts by acclaimed Donegal group, Clannad, later this month.
The special reunion gigs will form part of the five day TradFest music festival. Also appearing during the festival will be another Donegal traditional group, Altan.
"It feels very, very good to be back. It feels like some stuff was left undone after I left over 20 years ago," Clannad member, Pol Brennan, told yesterday's ‘Irish Independent.'
He and his brother, Ciaran, have already penned five tracks for a new album to be released by the band.
Clannad will perform in Christ Church Cathedral on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, 27th, 28th and 29th January during the festival.
