Last week a new constituency office was opened in South Donegal to cater for the many people in the south of the county who feel they now have no voice at council level.
On a warm Saturday evening Deputy Thomas Pringle performed the official opening of Cllr. John Campbell’s new office in Mountcharles.
Surrounded by a group of supporters Cllr. Campbell said that it was his hope to continue the good work and reputation that Thomas had built up in the area.
He told the gathering, “I am beginning to find my feet and things are getting busy. It is important that South Donegal has a strong independent voice at Council level and I will leave no stone unturned to ensure that the south of the county gets it’s fair share.”
The office will be open 11am to 1pm Tuesday to Thursday and 12 noon to 4pm on Fridays.
Cllr. Campbell added, “I will be available in the evenings by appointment and from 4pm to 7pm on a Friday, as I am still working full time.”
Thomas Pringle will also be available at the office 2pm to 4pm on the last Friday of the month and out local Mountcharles woman Noreen Boyle will be working in the office on a part time basis.
