Dinny McGinley, Fine Gael TD and minister for state for the Gaeltacht, has received word that three organisations in Donegal South West are to receive almost €60,000 from the Health Lottery Fund.

Minister of State McGinley heard from Dr James Reilly, TD, minister for health, of the allocation.

Castlefinn Youth Club has been granted €56,000 toward the cost of developing a youth cafe; Crossroads and Killygordon Enterprises have been allocated 2,360 toward the cost of purchasing a defibrillator; and Ballintra/Laghey Senior Citizens have been granted €7,000 toward the cost of services for older people.

Minister of State McGinley said he welcomed the allocations at these particularly difficult times, saying they will be of benefit to the communities involved.
