A man’s body has been recovered from the sea in the Donegal Gaeltacht.
The male is believed to be in his 60s and was spotted in the water shortly after 10pm on Monday night near Magheragallen pier in Gaoth Dobhair.
It is understood the discovery was made by a group returning from Gola Island by boat.
A car was also located near the pier and is believed to belong to the deceased man.
Emergency services and gardai attended the scene and the investigation is ongoing.
