Man charged with threatening to kill Buncrana pensioner

A 48-year old man has been charged with burglary and threatening to kill 96-year-old Margaret ‘Greta’ Lilly at her home in Buncrana.

A 48-year old man has been charged with burglary and threatening to kill 96-year-old Margaret ‘Greta’ Lilly at her home in Buncrana.

Thomas Alcock, of no fixed abode, appeared before Cloverhill Court in Dublin yesterday. He was charged with burglary and threatening to kill the pensioner at her home in Aghilly, Buncrana on January 5 last.

He was remanded in custody and is due to appear in court tomorrow.
