A Letterkenny Town Councillor is hoping that the local authority will provide exercise bars around the town this summer. Cllr Jim Lynch says the move will will allow people get fitter and more athletic this summer.
Exercise equipment is commonplace in many countries and he has been informed that a location is being examined between the Bernard McGlinchey Town Park and the Linear Park at Ballyraine.
The refurbished “Sweet Factory” playground, which includes playground equipment for children with special needs is scheduled to be opened in the Bernard McGlinchey Town Park before the end of June, he has been informed.
