The Donegal Democrat can exclusively reveal that 32 new jobs are to be created in Donegal Town which the Minister has described as “the equivalent of a few hundred jobs in Dublin.”
Minister of the Gaeltacht, Dinny McGinley TD told the Donegal Democrat, “I am delighted to announce that Uisce Eireann are setting up eight regional water centres nationally and that Donegal Town is one of the chosen locations.
“I am particularly pleased that one of these centres is being established in my home constituency and realistically it is the equivalent of a few hundred jobs in an urban centre like Dublin. This is a tremendous injection for Donegal Town.”
Continuing the Minister said, “The centre will employ up on 32 people and already arrangements are being made by Uisce Eireann to establish the centre either at an existing location or on a greenfield site.”
