Body of man in his 70s taken from Derryveagh Mountains

The body of a man, believed to have been in his 70s, was taken from the Derryveagh Mountains yesterday. It is believed the man may have suffered from a heart attack.

The body of a man, believed to have been in his 70s, was taken from the Derryveagh Mountains yesterday. It is believed the man may have suffered from a heart attack.

Members of the Donegal Mountain Rescue Team responded to an emergency call after 4pm.

The team made their way to Aghlamore, between Dunlewey and Falcarragh where the man was already being treated by paramedics from the Sligo-based Rescue 118 helicopter. However, it is understood he died at the scene.
