A case involving a former Bundoran traffic warden accused of harassing her successor will be heard at Donegal District Court next month, a judge ruled on Monday.

Judge Kevin Kilrane, who has excluded himself from hearing the case, ruled that the case against Patricia McCafferty will be heard on October 14th. It is alleged that Ms McCafferty harassed her successor, Eddie Duffy.

Ms McCafferty said she still had to do paper-work linked to a summons she was going to issue and that October 14th was too soon. She said she would not be ready by that date.

Judge Kilrane confirmed to Ms McCafferty that another judge would hear the case. Noting her objection to the date, he said the date fixed for the case, on October 14th would remain.

Ms McCafferty, who was employed as traffic warden until 2008, is accused of harassing Bundoran traffic warden, Eddie Duffy between April and September 2012.
