A new set of allegations about Donegal County Councillors’ expenses has been received by the Council’s ethics registrar.

A new set of allegations about Donegal County Councillors’ expenses has been received by the Council’s ethics registrar.

It emerged yesterday evening that Liam Ward, Ethics Registrar with Donegal County Council (DCC) has received two sets of anonymous allegations against councillors, the latest being received yesterday morning.

Well placed sources told the Democrat that five complaints against councillors were received by Liam Ward on Friday, and a further ten arrived on his desk yesterday morning.
