A special new fund-raising calendar, packed full of images of Donegal and its people, will be launched next week.

The official launch will take place at the Donegal Association of London annual dinner dance in the Crown-Moran Hotel in Cricklewood on Saturday week, November 23.

The 2014 calendar is the brain child of well-known photographer Brendan Vaughan.

Based in London, where he resides with his family, Brendan who is from Carrigart is a familiar face on both side of the Irish Channel. He previously launched a charity calender two years ago that featured a stunning collection of his images.

It was successful in raising almost €15,000 for the Donegal Hospice.

Now he intends to release the second calendar at the London event as well as it being made available in Ireland.

Brendan said he was delighted with the response to the last calendar and is looking forward to launching the next one very shortly. He would like to thank all who supported him the project including main sponsors, Tim Kelly, Seamus Quinn, Tony McFadden and Lawrence Roarty and others.
