A race that started with just 300 competitors four years ago and has now a realistic target of 2,000 competitors in March launched their enhanced programme tonight (Tuesday) in Bundoran.

A race that started with just 300 competitors four years ago and has now a realistic target of 2,000 competitors in March launched their enhanced programme tonight (Tuesday) in Bundoran.

Canice Nicholas of Cara was joined by Bundoran Town officials, members of Tirconaill AC, volunteers and competitors at the launch of the Cara Challenge in Bundoran’s Library.

This year the weekend will include new activities including surfing in Bundoran’s famous waves, cycling , walking and a choice of 5 and 10km events as well as the 10 mile challenge.
