Work starts on making Ballyshannon Town Clock safe
A specialist firm using a huge crane from Quinn Crane Hire started work this morning shortly after 8am on making Ballyshannon Town clock safe.

A specialist firm using a huge crane from Quinn Crane Hire started work this morning shortly after 8am on making Ballyshannon Town clock safe.

At this stage two sections of the clock face, damaged by storms on Thursday last, have been taken down and work continues.

Restrictions/diversions remain in place until the work is completed - it may well be mid afternoon before the work is fully completed, but weather conditions are ideal at the moment, with little or no wind.
