Some of the older parts of Letterkenny General Hospital could be demolished as part of the rebuilding programme that will follow July’s floods.
One older block that contains the haematology department, medical records and canteen has been identified as part of the site that could be demolished as part of a revamp of the campus, the Donegal People’s Press has learned.
The HSE said in August that it could take several months to restore all services to the hospital and the cost has been put at tens of millions.
