There is good news for Raphoe with confirmation that Deele College has been included in the major school building projects announced by the Government.
The proposed college extension is scheduled for construction next year.
Controversially the Raphoe project is the only inclusion from the county in the Minister for Education’s announced 70 building projects for next year.
Junior Minister, Dinny McGinley has welcomed the announcement.“This proposed extension was long overdue for Deele College and not only would this improve the quality of surroundings for the students of the college, and add to their educational experience but would be a welcome boost to jobs and the local economy while the work was ongoing”.
