State Pathologist Dr Marie Cassidy is carrying out a post mortem on the body of a 18-year-old

man who died suddenly at his Stranorlar home on Monday night.

The teenager, who has been named locally as Dean Lafferty, died at his home at Admiran Park at around 8pm on Monday.

Gardaí confirmed this morning that they were investigating the sudden death.

Local councillor Patrick McGowan said the death had left a dark cloud over the community.
