The funeral of a mother of three who was killed in crash takes place today Thursday. Siobhan Hutcheon, 38, from Ardmore in Muff died in a crash which involved a car and a bus on Saturday on May 3.
Three of her children, Callum, Ben and Jake were in the car with her as she drove to a holiday caravan in Kerrykeel. The children are now described as being in a stable condition. The accident happened near Newtowncunningham.
Speaking on Highland Radio, Father John Farren said Mrs Hutcheon’s parents and her husband Warren were deeply shocked by her sudden death.
“Siobhan was a bright and bubbly girl, she was what we would call ‘civil.’ She would have always have had the first word, was full of craic and very friendly,” he said. Mrs. Hutcheon’s funeral is due to take place at Muff following burial in Derry’s City Cemetery.
