Criminal damage case expected to be heard tomorrow

A 25-year-old man has pleaded not guilty to a charge of criminal damage and breach of the peace at Letterkenny Circuit Court this afternoon.

A 25-year-old man has pleaded not guilty to a charge of criminal damage and breach of the peace at Letterkenny Circuit Court this afternoon.

John Boyle was living at 14 Leck Cottages, Letterkenny on October 11, 2011, the date the alleged offence took place.

John Boyle is accused of criminal damage to 72 Thornberry, Letterkenny.

He is accused of being in breach of the peace on the same date.

The court heard that a clothes horse, bedside lockers and doors were damaged in the property belonging to Peter O’Donnell at Thornberry.

A jury was sworn in and it is envisaged the case may begin tomorrow after 2pm.
