Crash death trial to start on Tuesday next
The trial of Inishowen man Shaun Kelly charged with the dangerous driving causing the death of eight people has been scheduled to begin next Tuesday.

The trial of Inishowen man Shaun Kelly charged with the dangerous driving causing the death of eight people has been scheduled to begin next Tuesday.

The allegation relates to an incident at Meenaduff on July 11, 2010.

Mr Kelly of Hill Road, Ballymagan, was in court this morning.

At the opening day of the current sittings of Letterkenny Circuit Court prosecuting barrister for the State, Patricia McLaughlin BL, said a jury would be required in the case and asked for the case to be listed for next Tuesday.

Defence barrister, Peter Nolan BL, said the trial may run into a second week.

Judge Mathew Deery adjourned the case to next Tuesday.
