Rockhill House in Letterkenny is sold for 670,000 euro
Rockhill House, the former Defence Forces barracks outside of Letterkenny, was sold yesterday at public auction for 670,000 euro.

Rockhill House, the former Defence Forces barracks outside of Letterkenny, was sold yesterday at public auction for 670,000 euro.

The guide price for the property, which includes a 17th-century manor house and outbuildings on 29.6 acres, was 260,000 euro.

Dozens of people, including former soldiers, gathered in the former barracks’ canteen for the auction, which was conducted by selling agents Sherry Fitzgerald Rainey of Letterkenny.

The name of the new owner has not been made public, but it is understood the businessman works in the area.
