A Donegal woman won silver and bronze medals at the World Transplant games in Durban in South Africa last week.
Letterkenny woman, Vienna White (31) is enjoying great success at the World Transplant Games in Durban, South Africa this week. The Inishowen native has scooped two medals, a Silver in the 3000m race walk and a Bronze in the Shot Put event.
Speaking about her wins at the weekend, the mother of one, who now lives in Letterkenny with her husband Robbie, said
“The shot put outcome was very unexpected for me. The standard is so high here. I was hoping to do well in the 3km race walk so I am delighted with the result, being placed second, as it was hard-fought.”
