Huge funding boost for Finn Harps and Letterkenny Regional Sports Activity Hub

Green Party Minister Catherine Martin, Minister for Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media’s announcement is a huge boost to both Finn Harps and Letterkenny Regional Sports Activity Hub

Finn Harps and Letterkenny Regional Sports Activity Hub to substantial funding

Finn Harps and Letterkenny Regional Sports Activity Hub are to receive significant in funding.

Green Party Minister Catherine Martin, Minister for Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media’s announcement said Letterkenny Regional Sports Activity Hub will receive just over €422,000 funding. 

This is in addition to a previous funding allocation of over €326,000, bringing the total to €749,000.

Finn Harps will receive €693,550. This is in addition to a previous funding allocation of over €3.9 million, bringing the total received to date to over €4.6 million. 

“Sport is a huge part of people’s lives in Donegal and it’s brilliant to see that Minister Martin has allocated record funding to the county,” Donegal Green Party Chairperson Michael White said. “This is a big shot in the arm for both Finn Harps and Letterkenny ”
