1985 - Donegal 0-13 Cavan 0-8
(Above - How the Democrat reported on the final in 1985)
Donegal had a convincing win over Cavan at Irvinestown in a game that had, according to the Democrat, ‘some nice football, but not much excitement’.
Marty Carlin led the way as Donegal led 0-9 to 0-4 at half-time and Bosco Reid scored a quick fire point on the resumption.
Philim Costello had a goal chance for Cavan that hit the post. It was as close as the Breffni went.
