Gardaí are appealing for information after a house was ransacked in Glenpatrick Place, Ballybofey, last weekend. Substantial water damage was done to the house as a result of a shower and toilet unit being smashed in an upstairs bathroom. A locked bedroom door was forced open.
Downstairs a TV had been smashed during the incident. A broadband box was taken from the home. Garda Sergeant Charlene Anderson said gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have seen any suspicious activity, in the area, between 7pm and 7.45pm on Friday, May 27 to contact Letterkenny Garda Station. The residents of the house had left it for only a short period of time when the house had been entered. The door had been left unlocked.
Gardaí are also appealing for information in relation to sightings of two males wearing dark clothing who were in the area at around the time of the incident. You can contact Letterkenny Garda Station on 074 91 67100.
