Atlantic Technological University (ATU) will host a series of Open Days across its nine university campuses this November.

ATU’s Letterkenny campus will host the first of the November Open Days on Thursday, November 6 and Saturday, November 8, from 10am to 1pm.

These events provide the perfect opportunity to experience university life first-hand and get your questions answered. These events are open to Leaving Certificate and A-Level students, postgraduates, part-time and online learners, mature students, parents, teachers, and anyone curious about studying at ATU.

Visitors will meet academic staff, current students, and student support teams, who will be on hand to answer questions and guide attendees through the range of study options available.

ATU’s Open Days offer an immersive way to explore what university life is really like. Guests can tour the campus, visit state-of-the-art facilities and discover the expanding list of programmes on offer.

Fiona Kelly, ATU Marketing Manager, commented: “Choosing where to study is one of the biggest decisions a student will make, and no amount of online research can replace experiencing the campuses in person. ATU Open Days allow prospective students to meet lecturers, support staff and current students, and to get clear, honest answers about programmes, accommodation and student life.

“Our degree programme provision is constantly expanding. We recently introduced new CAO programmes in Physiotherapy, and Pharmacy, and we look forward to welcoming our first intake of Veterinary Medicine and Surgery students in September 2026. These Open Days provide an opportunity to explore our programme range and connect with the key people needed to make informed decisions.”

Jack Burke, ATU graduate marketing intern, added: “Whether you’re a student exploring your next step, a parent, guardian, teacher, or just curious about life at ATU, we can’t wait to welcome you. There’s so much to explore, from clubs, societies, and sports teams to scholarship opportunities. So don’t miss it, come see for yourself!”
