Donegal Town graduates with top awards from Dublin City University

Carl McCarry graduated with a first-class Bachelor of Science in Sport Science and Health from Dublin City University

Carl McCarry from Clar Lough Eske, Donegal Town, won the Dean’s List Award as he graduated with a first-class Bachelor of Science in Sport Science and Health from Dublin City University last month.

The 23-year-old  is the son of Wendy, the former Chief Executive Officer of the Bluestack Special Needs Foundation, and John, general manager at Fisherman Out of Ireland, and the brother of John, Conor, Odhrán and Ava. 

Carl, a former student of Abbey Vocational School and Scoil Aodh Rua agus Nuala, won the Dean's List Award, for both the best academic achievement and best research project award and is now doing a Master's degree in Physiotherapy at DCU.
