The Donegal Minors begin their All-Ireland Minor 'B' Championship away to Derry this Saturday in Celtic Park (throw-in 12pm).

Barry Ward's side had been on a good run in the Ulster Minor Championship after coming through games against Monaghan in Letterkenny and Armagh in the Athletic Grounds to reach the semi-finals.

But the side were then drawn away again in the final four to Cavan, losing out by 1-17 to 0-15 in Breffni Park.

Saturday's opponents also were defeated by five points to the Breffni side in Round 1, before a 13 point win over Fermanagh in the qualifiers.
