Numbers crunched on Donegal’s 2025 league and championship season to date

Donegal lock horns with Tyrone in Ballybofey on Saturday evening and ahead of that clash we look at some of the interesting stats and numbers produced by Jim McGuinness’ men so far this season.

The following list, compiled by Edward Molloy, represents both the NFL and Ulster SFC.

A total of 36 different players have played this year, making 222 appearances in total. No player has started all matches this year. 

Ciaran Moore is the only player to have played some part in all 11 matches, with ten starts and one appearance as a substitute. 

Two players, Brendan McCole and Shane O’Donnell, have started 10 matches. Eleven players have started all four Ulster championship matches.
