Donegal 0-5
Donegal Masters suffered a heavy defeat to Tyrone in the Masters Championship on Saturday at Carrickmore, going down by ten points in the end.
Tyrone have been strong in Masters football in recent years, and despite losing their first game of the competition, they showed their class against Donegal.
Donegal were missing some important players and struggled to get going, trailing 0-6 to 0-1 at halftime.
Former senior player Mark Donnelly was key for Tyrone, scoring 1-4. For Donegal, Benny Boyle from Killybegs contributed three points, while Brian McLaughlin from St Michael’s added two, but Tyrone were the better side on the day.
