MacCumhaills claimed two more valuable league points with victory over Downings on Saturday night.

Conor McGinty top scored with a personal tally of 1-2 while Chad McSorley, Sean Martin, Matthew McGeehan, Martin O'Reilly, Jamie Keegan, Kevin McCormack and Jack Duffy posted the points for the Finnsiders.

Ethan Cullen scored the Downings goal and Conor Boyce, Johnny McGroddy, Paddy McElwee, Kyle McFadden, Ronan Gallagher and Alan Pasoma landed the points for the Maxi Curran-managed side.

The win, their fourth of the season, moved Sean MacCumhaills on nine points in the Division One League table and seventh place overall.
