Aodh Ruadh drop points with draws against Gaeil Fhánada and Naomh Padraig

Ballyshannon side unbeaten in 12 games but with five draws may now not get automatic promotion place

Aodh Ruadh drop points with draws against Gaeil Fhánada and Naomh Padraig

Jack Gallagher - scored two goals for Aodh Ruadh against N Padraig

Aodh Ruadh dropped points in their bid for promotion from Division 2 with two draws in quick succession last week. On Thursday evening they drew with Gaeil Fhánada in the GAA Centre in Convoy while on Saturday evening  they travelled to Muff and were denied a win by a late Naomh Padraig point.

They remain top of the table but now have just one game left (away to St Mary’s, Convoy).  They are unbeaten in their 12 league games but have drawn five of them which leaves them now relying on Naomh Muire and Dungloe to drop points in the run-in, which is unlikely, and they will probably end up in third place and the promotion-relegation play-off.
