Referee Paddy Neilan during the Connacht GAA Football Senior Championship final match between Mayo and Galway
Paddy Neilan has been appointed as referee for Donegal's All-Ireland quarter-final with Monaghan this Saturday.
The Roscommon native has had plenty of experience refereeing in Croke Park, having been in charge of the 2022 All-Ireland SFC semi-final between Dublin and Kerry when the Hawk-Eye system stopped working.
The St Faithleach's club man has also officiated the U20 All-Ireland final and the All-Ireland Senior club finals in recent years, while also being on the line for the 2022 All-Ireland final.

Neilan was in charge of Donegal's Super 8s meeting with Kerry in Headquarters in 2019, while he also took charge of the Division 1 match against Dublin in MacCumhaill Park earlier this year, as well as the 2025 Connacht final.
Throw-in for the game is at 4pm on Saturday, with the game live only on GAA+.
