Letterkenny Gaels claimed two league points with a hard-fought win over hosts Moville on Sunday afternoon.
Shay Doherty, Conor Walker, and Diarmaid O Cathail led the scoring charge for the Gaels.
And Aidy Glackin's side added points through Ben Gallagher, Darren Hunter, Dean Kennedy and Conor McBrearty to claim the Gaels' sixth win of the season.
The win was not enough to give the Pairc na nGael side a crack at promotion. They find themselves three points behind Naomh Bríd who are third in the table with just one game each remaining.
Jamie McCormack and Caillou O’Kane scored the goals for an improving Moville, who are still chasing their first win of the season.
Brian Moore also capped a good performance with five points, one of them a two-point strike. Christy Hegarty also got his name on the score sheet for the locals.
