Donegal and Kerry will both wear their second kits in the All-Ireland SFC final on Sunday week.

Donegal defeated Math 3-26 to 0-15 in Sunday's semi-final, the day after Jack O'Connor's side overcame Tyrone 1-23 to 0-17.

Brendan Cawley, the match referee, was consulted on the kits for the final, with both teams' usual attire being green and gold.

For the semi-final, Donegal at one point were to wear white, and Meath yellow, before official Paul Faloon let both wear their home gear, believing there was no clash.

However, for the final, both teams will change - Donegal into white and Kerry blue - as they did in the rearranged Allianz League Division 1 clash in Killarney, which Donegal won 0-23 to 1-18 at Fitzgerald Stadium.

This is the fourth championship meeting between Donegal and Kerry. In the 2012 All-Ireland quarter-final, both changed as the Donegal team managed by Jim McGuinness won 1-12 to 1-10.

In the 2014 All-Ireland final, Donegal's jersey was predominantly gold and both wore their home kits as Kerry won 2-9 to 0-12.

And when they squared off in 2019 at the Super Eights stage at Croke Park in a 1-20 apiece draw, both wore their home kits.

The last time both teams wore away kits in the All-Ireland final was when Cork beat Down in 2010.
