McGee has had a rotten run of injuries and that misfortune again hampered him this term. But when he’s moving well, he has every single attribute that a modern midfielder needs. He, along with Hugh McFadden, stemmed the tide around that troublesome section in the second half. The only issue was that most of the damage had already been done at that stage.
