A brilliant return from the Glenswilly native, only outscored in the All-Ireland by David Clifford, but his link-up play was also superb. Two years away from intercounty football, Murphy came back with a bang and was hotly tipped for Footballer of the Year before the final.
Verdict: Should win an All-Star.
