Amy Boyle Carr kicked her first-ever goal for the Adelaide Crows, helping power her side to a commanding 32-point away victory over winless Greater Western Sydney.

With a strong breeze behind them, the Crows made a blistering start, piling on 4.7 to 0.1 in the opening term at Henson Park in Marrickville. The young Giants, already hit hard by the early hamstring injury to veteran Alicia Eva, fought bravely to steady the contest.

But Adelaide’s 30-point quarter-time lead proved insurmountable, and Carr’s breakthrough goal added extra shine to a polished team performance. The Crows ran out 7.12 (54) to 2.10 (22) winners, sealing their second consecutive victory.
