Four Masters 1-13
Shaun McGee was Dungloe’s saviour with a late, late two-pointer score to snatch a dramatic draw against Four Masters in a highly competitive fourth round SFC encounter in Rosses Park.
The score not only levelled the tie but also maintained Dungloe’s unbeaten run as they secured a second place finish in the final group standings.

Last year’s beaten finalist went into this one as slight favourites against a young and emerging Four Masters.
After a lively opening where Dungloe overcooked a couple of early goal chances, it was the men from Tir Chonaill Park who enjoyed the better of the opening half exchanges.
And it was Masters who led by four points, 0-11 to 0-7, at half-time thanks to the midfield dominance of Conor Reid and Richard O’Rourke and the accurate right boot of Kevin Muldoon who converted three two-point frees.
Seanan Carr, Callum McCrea and Turlough Carr also hit the target in that same spell.
Dylan Sweeney, Karl McGee, Danny Rodgers, Oisin Bonner and Ryan Connors kicked the points for the locals.
Darren Curran and Matthew Ward upped their game in the middle of the park on the restart and with Barry Curran, Dylan Sweeney, Aaron Neely and Connors winning breaking ball the middle third the pendulum swung in favour of Dessie Gallagher’s charges.
Barry Curran kicked a two-point score in the early minutes to trim the Masters’ lead to two and when Neilly went forward to clip over, the lead was back to a single point.
Carr then restored Masters’ two-point advantage but Dungloe continued to have the upper hand and Connors landed a two-point score to tie up the game at 0-12 apiece by the 49-minute mark.
And when Dylan Sweeney followed up with another point, Dungloe were in front. Karl Magee, seconds after replacing Conor O’Donnell, announced his arrival with another Dungloe white flag as 0-14 led 0-12.
And with Dungloe beginning to boss the game, an Aaron Neilly pass in his own half back line was intercepted by Muldoon and the speedy wing forward raced in to tee up Conor McCahill who made no mistake to beat Danny Rodgers from ten metres.
Masters were now back in front by one, 1-12 to 0-14, and when Carr curled over a close in free, Masters were two up deep in injury time.
But to their credit, Dungloe refused to panic and they worked the ball forward to find McGee in space and the super sub did the business to split the Masters posts to snatch the draw.
Barry Dunnion’s team will now play Glenswilly in the preliminary round quarter-finals.
