Tempers flare at the end of Donegal's Ulster SFC extra-time win over Armagh
Donegal and Armagh officials have been summoned to Croke Park on Friday with the outcome of the disciplinary investigation into the scenes that marred the aftermath of the Ulster final likely to be revealed.
Respective chairpersons Mary Coughlan and Sean McAlinden will meet with the GAA’s Central Competitions Control Committee (CCCC) to hear its findings.

The CCCC have been examining those scenes since May’s decider where a post-match scuffle unfolded as Donegal celebrated a dramatic extra-time win over the then reigning All-Ireland champions.
At the time, RTE cameras failed to catch the initial spark of the melee. Mobile phone footage circulated on social media soon after but the quality and angles of that would have made it difficult to positively identify those involved.
The GAA and the CCCC have, in the past, been reluctant to consider social media clips as sufficient evidence to pursue sanctions, especially in the absence of clear identification.
Something that usually facilitates the CCCC in these types of situations are referee reports.
But the footage of the melee shows Kildare referee Brendan Cawley and his team of officials heading in the direction of the old St Tiernach’s Park dressing rooms.
So their view may well have been obstructed by supporters who raced onto the pitch immediately after the final whistle.
If the GAA are intent on issuing sanctions, it’s more likely that both counties will be subject to charges under the rulebook, including "Disruptive Conduct" or "Misconduct Considered to Have Discredited the Association" - infractions which carry the possibility of fines or player suspensions.
