Dáire Ó Baoill of Gaoth Dobhair and Naomh Conaill's Ultan Doherty compete for the high ball during the 2023 final
The Donegal Senior Football Championship final between Gaoth Dobhair and Naomh Conaill will be shown live on TG4.
The meeting of Naomh Conaill and Gaoth Dobhair will be the fourth time the pair will have met in the last eight finals, with the Glenties-based side winning two of them, including in 2019 after a replay, and most recently in 2023, while Gaoth Dobhair won in 2018.
Martin Regan’s side set up the final between the sides as they came from three down in extra-time to beat Four Masters on Sunday by 1-19 to 0-18, while Gaoth Dobhair had a slightly more comfortable ending to their game as they defeated St Michael’s by 1-16 to 0-13.
The game takes place on Sunday, October 12, in O’Donnell Park at 3.30pm, with James Connors from the St Eunan’s club refereeing the final.
