Sean Paul Doherty has returned as the Urris manager
Sean Paul Doherty has been unveiled as the new Urris senior men’s team manager.
Doherty takes the reins at Crampsey Park for 2026, succeeding Stephen Cooney in the hotseat.
Previously, Doherty had two seasons in charge at Urris, in 2018 and 2019.
“We have no doubt his experience and passion will lead the way for this group of players,” Urris said.
“We wish Sean Paul and his backroom team every success in 2026.
“The club would also like to acknowledge and thank Stephen Cooney for all his efforts last season and wish him well in the future.”

Urris finished sixth in Division 3 of the All-County League in 2025. In the Championship, Urris lost out in games against Pettigo, Robert Emmets, Convoy and Naomh Brid.
