The venues for Donegal’s three home Allianz National League games for 2026 have been selected.

With MacCumhaill Park, Ballybofey out of commission for the moment due to the pitch being re-laid, Fr Tierney Park, Ballyshannon and O’Donnell Park, Letterkenny will host the three games.

Fr Tierney Park, Ballyshannon will be the venue for two games, beginning with the first home game against Kerry on Sunday, February 1st.

The second home game for Donegal is against Mayo on Sunday, February 15th, which will be played in O’Donnell Park, Letterkenny.

Donegal’s final home game against Galway will be played at Fr Tierney Park, Ballyshannon on Sunday, March 1st.

Donegal begin their Allianz League campaign away to Dublin on Saturday, January 24th, which will be the only National League game that Donegal will play under lights.

Their three other away games will be against Armagh (February 22); Roscommon (March 15th) and Monaghan (March 22nd).

Prior to the National League, Donegal will be back in action in the Dr McKenna Cup in early January as the competition returns to mark the 100th anniversary of the competition. The Dr McKenna Cup as well as all the other provincial pre-season competitions were dropped in 2025. The Ulster Council made the decision in September to bring back the popular pre-season competition. The draw for the 2026 Dr McKenna Cup has yet to be made.

As regards venues for those games, it will be a similar position to the Allianz National League with MacCumhaill Park, Ballybofey being unavailable. Any home games will have to be hosted in O’Donnell Park, Letterkenny or Fr Tierney Park, Ballyshannon.
