St Eunan's have confirmed that Kieran Donnelly is to take charge of their senior footballers.

The Brookeborough, Co Fermanagh native, took charge of his native county for five seasons, as far as Division 2 of the Allianz League, then taking the team to the semi-finals of the Tailteann Cup where they lost out to Kildare at Croke Park before stepping aside in August.

Previously, Donnelly was in charge of Cavan Gaels and Scotstown, who he guided to the final of the 2018 Ulster Club SFC, where they lost to Gaoth Dobhair in extra-time, 0-13 to 0-12. He previously managed Fermanagh minors, having also been assistant to Peter Canavan, and Omagh CBS, where he teaches. Donnelly was over Ulster for the 2024 Interprovicinals which showcased Gaelic football's experimental rules for the first time.

He replaces Barry Meehan, who won the Donegal SFC in 2024 following a 1-13 to 1-10 victory over Dungloe in the final, which took the O'Donnell Park to the top of the roll of honour in the county with a 16th title.

St Eunan's said: "Kieran brings extensive coaching and management experience at both club and inter-county level, having previously worked with the Fermanagh Senior Team, various county underage squads, and with Scotstown, where he contributed to strong performances at senior level.

"St Eunan’s GAA Club wishes Kieran and his backroom team every success for the 2026 season and looks forward to supporting them on the journey ahead."
