Tanya Kennedy capped off another fine AFLW campaign with a runner-up finish in the Club Champion count on Friday night, emphasising her position as one of the Sydney Swans’ most influential players.

Castlefin native Kennedy produced a career-best season, averaging 19 disposals and eight tackles per game. 

Her consistency and contested-ball presence saw her amass 231 votes, narrowly edging teammate Montana Ham (230) and finishing behind dual Club Champion Chloe Gardiner, who claimed the top honour with 279 votes.
