Battle of the Parish in Ballyshannon in Christmas Kickabout for charity

There is a special event planned by Aodh Ruadh for the Christmas period in Fr Tierney Park with the Battle of the Parishes with all proceeds going to the Ballyshannon Community Hospital.

There are already two large panels of players confirmed with St Joseph’s (The Rock) taking on St Patrick’s, two parishes and two different dioceses.

There will be battle lines between families and it is hoped to have two ‘Celebrity Bainisteoirs’ taking charge, to be announced nearer the time.

The event takes place on Sunday, 28th December with a Ladies game at 12 noon, Ballyshannon v Rest of the World.

The Mens game has a 11 am throw-in. All former players are welcome and anyone who might happen to be in Ballyshannon for the Christmas is welcome to come along.

There will be tea / coffee / mulled wine / refreshments afterwards in the Aras and music from our recently crowned Ulster Scór na nOg winners.

All proceeds from the day will go to Ballyshannon Community Hospital Patient Comfort Fund.

All welcome for a family friendly couple of hours and a bit of fun to sign off on club activities for 2025.
