While the match against Derry was postponed, and a point awarded to each team with no time for the match to be replayed, fans missed out on a first glimpse of the side, but the panel named gave us plenty of insight to the new look squad

A look at the nine new faces named in the Donegal panel for the McKenna Cup

Termon's Cormac Gallagher and Eoin McGeehin of St Eunan's were both named in the panel for Sunday's game

 

Paul O’Hare (Naomh Columba)

O’Hare was named at corner back for the clash with Derry after a stellar year at club level.

O’Hare starred as his Naomh Columba side to the Donegal Intermediate title in 2025, beating Malin by 3-14 to 2-9 as he also won the Player of the Championship.

The 23-year-old is no stranger to wearing a Donegal jersey and was part of Gary Duffy’s minor panel in 2019, playing much higher up the pitch.

The Glen man played in the full back line for his club, but is a danger going forward with the ability to run at pace.
